"Be faithful unto death and I will give you a *crown* of life." The crown of life does NOT symbolize salvation. All crowns are *rewards*. Salvation is NOT an earned reward, but a ***free gift***.
You can learn or be reminded of universal truths from other faiths or the movies.
Don't have faith in your faith, have faith in ***Jesus***.
Open your heart to God: surrender, and be honest with Him about how you feel, what you think, who you are.
You are holy, righteous and blameless in Christ: a new creature.
Our desires and goals can be within the will of God, done to the glory of God.
Money can be a blessing of God.
"Turn the other cheek," but if someone is trying to kill you, or trying to rob your house, defend yourself and protect your property.
Tithing is NOT a law for the New Testament believer.
Mental and Emotional Abuse is not less damaging than physical abuse.
Unless you forgive, you cannot have a relationship with a human.
It's not about the strength of your faith. It's not about your mental understanding. It's about WHO your faith is in: if it is in ***Jesus*** and not your good works or anything else--for salvation, then you are saved forever.
God promises to help you and take care of you--always.
God works in mysterious ways.
God says to pagan nations, essentially, "You reject Me as Creator, you will never see Me as Savior. -C
People may "placate" you and say they believe in Jesus just to get you out of their face. --Doug
Put your trust in Jesus, not in your good works, your faith, your church, your baptism, Mary or anything else.
Listen to Scripture, not to Internet religious crazies.
You become certain of your salvation based on Scripture and the Holy Spirit alone. This same Scripture is the source of the scare of "Hell."
Philemon owed his salvation to Paul, through whom God worked.
Deception about salvation toward the unsaved is Satan's number one priority. Doubt toward the believer may be the second priority.
Make a salvation call in every service. -Doug
Sin, Hell and damnation--preach it.
Listen to Scripture: faith comes by hearing.
You are in error because you do not know the Scripture.
Even to Atheists, parts of the Bible are right: rain falls from the clouds, murder is wrong, Jerusalem is in the Holy Land, day follows night. So even Atheists cannot reject ALL of the Bible as being wrong. Use this on them.
Salvation is not predicated on life-long faithfulness.
Salvation comes from a one-time act of faith, like looking at the bronze snake of Moses. One act of faith prevented them from dying of snake poison for the rest of their life. One-time-action with continuing results. Aorist tense.
He that believes and is NOT water-baptized is also saved.
Water baptism is not part of the Gospel, message, said Paul the apostle.
All verses in the Bible support eternal security, and none oppose it. This is how we know it is a true doctrine--the whole counsel of God affirms it.
The Lord's Supper is a "remembrance." How can you "remember" Jesus' body and blood if it is right there before you on the table?!
Words. Meaning. Distinctions.
Memorize Scripture *precisely*.
Give your fear and doubt to Jesus.
Pray specifically.
The sign of Christ in the end times, is *Christ*.
Never read a Bible Verse by itself--get the context.
Jesus is our spiritual 'First Love."
The number of miracles of Jesus that are recorded in the New Testament: ***35***.

Today's Atheists often claim, in order to win the argument, that they "lack belief" in God.
But the truth is that Atheists do not "lack belief" in God: they positively do not believe in Him. (This is shown, not by my telling them what they believe, but by the words of their vigorous and often intelligent [though unwise], defense of their main statement of faith. They certainly, by their words and actions, believe, or try to make themselves believe, that God does *not* exist, though amazingly to those Christians and Theists and Deists who debate them, they will *not* admit to this.
The reason that they will not admit to this is that many atheists today no longer claim, "There is no God." The reason that they no longer do this is that this short statement of faith has been shown to be logically and philosophically indefensible.
The "There is" part of the statement means that they are making a *positive* declaration about something. (which would need to be proven, defended, or claimed as an object of faith, or some combination of all three.) The "no God' part means that they are claiming knowledge essentially of everything, because logically, God could be hiding in the one place that they did not look in order to find Him: the spiritual, non-material, non-physical realm.
Because one belief, or in this case, one "lack of belief," logically creates other beliefs, the statement "I lack belief that God exists," if it is not the identical sentence as, "I do not believe that God exists," or, I believe that God does not exist," or, "I believe that there is no God," they essentially mean, or logically and consequentially mean: exactly the same thing.

Atheism is an act of FAITH in the unprovable proposition, "There is no God." It is no more "rational" or "provable" than Christianity. It is not the automatic "default" position. (If anything, judging by 97% of humans, believing in a God of some sort, is the default position.) Atheism is NOT scientifically provable. The burden of proof to prove a claim lies on the one who makes the statement, in this case, the one who says, "There is no God." Atheists cannot prove this claim because it is, by nature, unprovable--you can't prove a negative. Therefore, Atheism is a FAITH.
***
Evolution is a FAITH that relies on the SCIENTIFICALLY IMPOSSIBLE concept that life came from non-life. (A ***MIRACLE***!!) (The foundational scientist Louis Pasteur proved that life did NOT come from non-life in his experiments.) Life has NEVER been witnessed --in the laboratory, or outside of it-- to come from non-life. (Except, of course, when "God did it"!) Therefore, "God-less evolutionary ORIGINS" demand that a scientifically impossible MIRACLE occurred (life from non-life), after the so-called "Big Bang."
Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Atheist and Evolutionist, I have FAITH, and I believe in MIRACLES, too, just like you do!
Here, let me tell you about the God who did that MIRACLE of life, and about FAITH in Jesus who can forgive your sins and save your soul from Hell...
Wow. The two biggest pieces of foolishness in the world cut down to size and seen for what they really are in just two paragraphs. Thank God for the Truth!

If an idea is wrong and you say, "That's a wrong idea, and here's why..."--is that being "judgmental? (or intolerant? Or closed-minded? Or narrow-minded?) Or is that being wise in judging a wrong idea to be wrong?
Judging an idea is different than judging a person. And judging a person's actions is different than judging the person himself.
Everybody judges. And the people who claim to be the most non-judgmental, they are the most judgmental people of all--they judge all of the people who have an opinion. They judge them when they tell them that they're *wrong* for judging. They say that judging itself is wrong. But they immediately show themselves to be hypocrites, for they themselves are judging when they condemn others for judging!
Many people appeal to Jesus, who said,"Do not judge." But if you read the context, Jesus was referring to judging "hypocritically." Judging itself is not wrong. In fact, the Bible and Jesus Himself, advocate it: "Judge for yourselves what is right."
The whole idea of "do not judge" is wrongly employed by the political left (liberals) so that they can assume their immoral views to be correct, and squelch all critical and logical discussion on any given issue.
And a great problem is that the people who are appointed and paid to judge-Supreme Court Justices-they are making wrong judgments because they are swayed by the "non-judgmental" liberals--can you believe it?
