Believer's Worldview - Curtis Smale

"The Flesh and the Will of God"

If you try to do the will of God by relying on your natural self-power, then you are struggling in your natural "flesh" to do God's will.
Rely instead on God's Spirit through prayer in this moment, and every moment, to give you the power to do His will. Try it.

The Place Where All of Your Good Dreams Live

What if there were a place where lived every single one of the favorite memories of your life?

All of your good moods.

All of your happiness.

All of your fondest hopes.

All of your longed-for dreams.

The answer to every prayer.

The exultation of every imagined wonder.

The vision of every beautiful thing you have ever seen, and heard, and experienced.

The majesty of the endless splendor of nature, the sky and the stars.

The shining radiance of pure beauty.

The music of bliss.

Overwhelming peace and endless love and everlasting goodness.

There is such a place.

~Heaven~

And Jesus, the Forgiver of your soul, and the fulfillment of your heart, is the only Way to get there.

 Handel's Hallelujah Chorus

Have you heard Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" lately?

This this is the single most powerful piece of music I have ever heard.

If there were "no God," something like this would, I think, strike us as rather silly--comical.

But it doesn't.

Therefore, for me, it gives strong evidence of God.

Booming male voices and beautifully shrieking female voices praising "God and His Christ" with all they have.

In harmony, and seeming competition to praise God more.

Four minutes and fifteen seconds of absolute perfection.

Listening to this piece of music for me is like being uplifted and cleansed.

Someone could hear this and absolutely know that there is a God and that His Name is Jesus and that He is coming again to judge the world.

Thank God for this amazing piece of music!

Ozzy Osbourne Declares His Rejection of Jesus in the Lyrics of His New Song: "I Don't Wanna Stop"

@@Catchy tune. Just heard it on the radio. Ozzy still sounds like a kid when he sings. Funny that he seems almost dead or severely depressed when he's not singing. Then, some almost supernatural presence seems to overtake him when he sings, and he jumps to life, powerfully singing his special lyrics with youthful vigor.

@@I was listening to this song, and it seemed fun and innocent. Then I heard what sounded like a little bit of blasphemy, and I decided to check out the lyrics online.

 Why Christianity is Not Stupid

Several times I have heard the sentiment voiced by popular comedians that Christianity is "stupid."

They say this because they frame the proposition of the faith like this:

"Eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God's infinite love... Believe or die!" -Bill Hicks

George Carlin has said almost the same thing.

People laugh, nod, and think,"Right. How stupid!"

But hold on a minute. Think this through logically with me, please.

Do people suffer eternally for "questioning God's eternal love"?

No.

Question God's love and look into it all you want.

Ask in what way God has shown that He loves the world.

He sent His Son.

So the unbelieving comedian has to lie in order to get a laugh while supposedly exposing what a stupid idea Christianity is.

Deception.

How could anyone question the love of a God who took on a human body to suffer the most intense pain for our wrongdoings, so He would not have to justly send us to Hell to be punished for our sins?

You may not believe in Jesus, but it surely is not true that that the God of the Christian faith is "unloving."

It is very inaccurate to say that God sets up a situation where a person is condemned to suffer forever because he does not happen to believe some irrelevant religious proposition.

People go to Hell because they are guilty sinners.

And because they have rejected God's forgiveness in Christ.
