Eastern religions teach that "everything is an illusion."
Okay. Using their logic, isn't their teaching itself an illusion, and therefore unworthy of any further consideration?

By their fruits you will know them, said Jesus.
The Roman Catholic pope is presiding over a church that is still trying to use money to pay for the pandemic of grievous sexual sins of its priests against children.
(Have you ever noticed how sickly and pasty-looking so many of the RC priests are?)
The Pope, just days ago, made the claim that the RC "church" is "the only true church."
But the false Roman Catholic church teaches it's people that they are saved by their own good works.
The truth is that the true church is made up of all those who believe in Jesus.

Some people are threatened by logic and truth and the implications these things have for their lives.
They do not seem to want to be "controlled" by truth or logic.
Their response to a reasonable examination of their point of view is something like: "Yadda, yadda, yadda, Mumbo-Jumbo, I don't like what you're saying--you're mean-- therefore you're wrong!" (Since these people see all opinions as "equally valid," a winning logical argument is necessarily seen as wrong and oppressive.)
Just because some things are matters of opinion does not mean that some opinions are not more right than others, based on the facts and logic of the argument, and the validity of everyone's *always* faith-based presuppositions upon which the arguments are based.
This "yadda, yadda, yadda" stuff does not qualify as rational argumentation. This is the argument of someone who just wants to be right by fiat and self-centered feelings, (by merely claiming that he is right), without any attempt at substantiating his argument with facts, logic and evidence.
Most contemporary Americans, and all liberals, are like this: anti-intellectual and mostly biblically and historically illiterate.
They are bullied by the "politically incorrect" labels and insults and intimidations of modern American liberal voices.
Logical and Spirit-filled Christians are not intimidated by irrational and God-less arguments.

"Your spirit and your mind are not the same things.
Your spirit and your emotions are not the same things.
Your spirit, if you are a believer in Jesus, is indwelled by the Holy Spirit.
Your spirit is the thing that "knows," and conscience and intuition and communion are part of it.
You are made up of:
spirit
mind
emotion
body
